Shropshire Disability Representative Squads
Cricket Shropshire runs two Disability representative squads. The D40 squad plays hardball cricket (40 overs per side) and compete in the ECB D40 North Division against other Counties.
The Super 9s squad is a development team consisting of less experienced disability cricketers. They play with a softball (30 overs per side) and compete in the Super 9s Midlands/North Division against other Counties.
Both squads are managed by David Hassell (manager), Graham Furber and Jonathan Caldecott (coaches).
The D40 squad has had a number of recent successes (including runners up in the 2015, 2016 and 2018 ECB D40 County Championships) and as a result of the hard work and high performance levels, players have also been selected for the England Physical and Learning Disability High Performance and Development Squads.
