In a close fought match Brewood set a total of 256 losing just one wicket off their six overs. Bridgnorth followed with a similarly strong performance 262 off their six overs for the loss of two wickets.
As a result, Bridgnorth were crowned U13 Champions.
Women and Girls Recreational Cricket Officer Katie Rushton said: “There were some brilliant cricketing skills on show across all of the matches and it was a pleasure to watch all of the girls enjoying their cricket in the sun.
“The competitive edge provided by the Lady Taverners bought the best out of the girls and it was great to see them enjoying their cricket after a unique and challenging Summer of cricket due to the weather and Covid-19.”
