New structure after review and consultation
We are committed to improving the quality of our representative teams and continuing to provide opportunities for players to develop and make the best of their ability.
A fundamental review of our pathway and performance programme for Boys, Women and Girls has now been completed and as a result changes are being made for next year.
The review has involved consultation with a cross section of clubs, ECB & SCB staff, SCB coaches, managers and parents; the insight gained has helped shape our 2018-19 plans.
We have planned a way forward that will allow increased quality time to be given to players and reduce the burden on volunteers and part-time staff.
Players will have an appropriate number of matches that provide the right challenge and level of cricket so they can develop and improve.
