The purpose of the site is to provide information to all those involved in cricket across the county (clubs, schools, players, coaches, parents and supporters) about what the SCB offers as an organisation.
The website also provides links to our many partners and significant contributors as well as specific space that is made available for clubs to use to advertise their activities (available free of cost). NatWest CricketForce 2012
The biggest volunteer event in UK sport is back again in 2012 and now is the time to register your club for NatWest CricketForce 2012, which will take place on the weekend 30th March – 1st April.
NWCF has been extremely successful for a number of clubs across the county in the past where they have brought all their members and volunteers together to help refurbish, renew and prepare the grounds and surroundings for the new season. CAG Season Review
As the final wicket was taken in the u15s cup final against Hertfordshire (the run out of number 11 Ashley Allington) the 2011 summer programme of county age group fixtures came to an end. As usual, all cricket fans and those who have been involved in SCB’s summer set up will agree that the season has once again rushed by.
This season has once again been a major progression for all involved, with the well documented success of the u15 boys who were champions in the ECB national B competition.

SCB NatWest OSCAs 2011
The Shropshire Cricket Board and SCB Coaches Association held a well attended and successful combined annual NatWest OSCAs and Coaches Association Recognition and Rewards awards evening on 6th May at the White House Hotel, Wellington.
The evening celebrated and rewarded the significant efforts of volunteers and coaches involved in clubs and age group cricket across Shropshire.
Over 100 guests from Shropshire were joined at the awards by Steve Elworthy (former South African test cricketer) as well as Jane Hannah and Richard Lightbown....[View gallery]
